Susan Windisch is an Associate Teaching Professor and Senior Research Associate at the University of Colorado's Department of Linguistics. She serves as Director of CLASIC (Computational Linguistics, Analytics, Search and Informatics), a professional M.S. program in computational linguistics. Her academic journey began with a joint Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Linguistics from the University of Colorado in 2010, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Florence.

Dr. Windisch teaches corpus linguistics and natural language processing courses, including the CLASIC capstone where students develop industry-focused projects. Notable projects include the DARPA-Wikidata ontology and the Rich Event Ontology.
