Susan Tighe

Susan Tighe, MSN, RN is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Mount Saint Vincent's Saint Joseph's School of Nursing. With 40+ years of nursing experience, she holds a BSN and MSN in Nursing Education from Mercy College. Her clinical background includes emergency nursing, neonatal intensive care, and nursing management at Westchester Medical Center and Northern Westchester Hospital.

• Affiliations: Member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society (since 2013), PSI NU Chapter of Sigma (2016-present), and National League of Nursing New York Chapter Research Committee (2016-present)

Her professional service includes nursing administrator roles, nursing supervisor duties, and volunteer work with Hands Up for Haiti (medical mission in Northern Haiti) and Jacobi Medical Center. Awards include the prestigious Daisy Award for Nursing Faculty (2016).
