Susan Spilecki

Susan Spilecki is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Writing Program within the Department of English at Northeastern University’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her teaching focuses on supporting nonfiction writers in developing productive practices, alongside past experience in creative writing and literature instruction.

Education includes an MFA in Writing, Literature & Publishing from Emerson College and an MA in Theological Studies from Episcopal Divinity School (2012), where she specialized in Queer Theology and Environmental Theology and Ethics. She also teaches at MIT.

Professional affiliations include the Society for the Study of Multi-Ethnic Literature of the United States. She currently teaches courses like First-Year Writing (ENGW 1111), emphasizing writing workshops, research methods, and reflective practice.

Office hours are Tuesdays and Fridays, 11:45am-1:15pm at 429 Lake Hall, 360 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
