Prof. Susan Seeber is a Professor of Business Education and Human Resources Development at the Georg-August University of Göttingen since 2010. She holds a habilitation in Educational Science from the University of Hamburg (2008) and a doctorate in Education from Humboldt University Berlin (1992). Her academic career includes research roles at the Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education (DIPF) and advisory positions in national education policy.
Her research focuses on
- Monitoring vocational education systems
- Transitions into vocational training
- Social disparities in educational participation
- Competence development in commercial/healthcare professions
- Democracy education in vocational contexts

- Elected member of Germany's Standing Scientific Commission (SWK/KMK) since 2021
