Susan Rogers is a Professor at Berklee College of Music, holding roles in the Music Production & Engineering and Liberal Arts departments. She directs the Berklee Music Perception and Cognition Laboratory. With a Doctorate in Psychology from McGill University (2010), her research focuses on auditory memory, musical signal perception, and the impact of musical training on auditory development. Prior to academia, she spent two decades as a record producer, engineer, and mixer, working with artists like Prince, Barenaked Ladies, and Tricky. She co-founded Boston's first nonprofit recording studio, The Record Company, offering affordable recording services and free music tech education to teens.
