Susan M. Schwartz, PhD, RN is an Assistant Professor at Widener University, specializing in Nursing with a focus on integrating anthropological perspectives into healthcare education and practice. Her work emphasizes culturally responsive care, health equity, and addressing the social determinants of health for marginalized communities.

Her research explores the intersection of medical anthropology and nursing education, with recent projects focusing on human trafficking and environmental determinants of health.
