Susan M. Mullaney is a Professor in the Nursing Department at Framingham State University, where she has taught since fall 2008 specializing in the MSN Leadership concentration and core courses. With 35 years of nursing education experience spanning LPN, Diploma, ADN, BSN, and MSN programs, she also served 12 years as Nursing Department Chair.

Her research centers on nursing leadership/management development, faculty and curriculum design innovations, and population-level barriers to herd immunity. This work integrates clinical practice insights with educational theory to address systemic challenges in nursing education and public health.
Dr. Mullaney's clinical background includes 5 years in staff development and prior service as assistant nurse manager on a surgical floor at Framingham Union Hospital.
