Susan Jordan

Susan Jordan is Professor of Epidemiology at The University of Queensland's School of Public Health. With medical training and clinical experience, her research examines cancer etiology through large-scale data linkage, patient surveys, and molecular epidemiology.

Her primary investigations focus on ovarian and thyroid cancers, analyzing patterns of care, survival rates, and epidemiological risk factors. Jordan employs diverse methodologies including individual patient surveys and consortium data pooling.

Recent publications demonstrate consistent focus on hormonal influences in cancer development, particularly contraceptive-related cancer risks. Her work contributes to understanding height-related cancer susceptibility and long-acting contraceptive safety profiles.
