Susan Hopkinson is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay within the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare. With over 27 years of nursing experience, including roles as a retired Army Nurse and leadership positions in clinical and academic settings, she specializes in the nursing work environment and evidence-based practice.

Her research focuses on the interplay between nursing work environments and clinical outcomes, emphasizing quality improvement initiatives. She has mentored nurses in implementing evidence-based practices and conducting research.
As Chair of the Master of Nursing Science in Leadership and Management program, she leads academic initiatives while maintaining active engagement in teaching and clinical inquiry.
