Susan Gresko

Susan Gresko is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Nursing at Temple University's College of Public Health. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate nursing students, with a strong emphasis on community-based learning and evidence-based practice. Her role includes precepting nurse practitioner students in clinical settings and contributing to interprofessional education initiatives across health sciences.

Her research and professional interests focus on pediatric primary care, public health nursing, and improving health outcomes for children through education and policy. Susan is actively involved in service and leadership, currently serving as president of the Kappa Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and previously as president of the Pennsylvania Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). She contributes to the Interprofessional Education Committee (IPE) at Temple, promoting collaborative, patient-centered care through simulation and workshop-based learning.

Professional Service and Leadership:

She has over 30 years of clinical experience as a board-certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and has coordinated nurse-managed health centers serving vulnerable populations. Her teaching portfolio includes key courses such as Health Assessment, Community Home series, Health Policy and Economics, and Primary Care of Children and Youth Theory.
