Susan Aronstein is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Wyoming. Her research focuses on medieval literature, Arthurian legend, and Disney studies, with significant contributions to the analysis of medieval film and cultural medievalism. She holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, an M.Sc. from the University of Edinburgh, and a B.A. from Seattle Pacific University.
Her notable works include *Hollywood Knights: Arthurian Cinema and the Politics of Nostalgia* (2005) and *British Arthurian Narrative* (2012), co-edited with Tison Pugh. Aronstein teaches courses such as *The Disney Discourse*, *King Arthur: Medieval to Modern*, and *Religion and Fantasy*. She has received prestigious awards including the Distinguished Graduate Mentor Award and the Ellbogen Teaching Award. Her scholarship bridges literary analysis with cultural critique, examining themes like adaptation, heritage tourism, and the intersection of myth with modern media.
