Suresh Lohani is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Virginia Tech's College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, located at 215 Shanks Hall, Blacksburg, VA. He teaches first-year writing courses and has over two decades of international experience instructing undergraduate and graduate writing students. Previously, he served as a career-track lecturer at the University of Arizona and an assistant instructor at the University of Texas at El Paso.
He holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Texas at El Paso. His research focuses on writing pedagogy, rhetoric, composition studies, and technical communication. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.
He actively contributes to departmental committees and maintains an interdisciplinary approach to writing instruction across academic and professional contexts.
