Surendra N. Tewari

Dr. Surendra N. Tewari is a Professor at the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Washkewicz College of Engineering, Cleveland State University. His research focuses on materials processing, structure-properties relationships, and directional solidification phenomena.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Purdue University

Research Interests: Dr. Tewari investigates thermosolutal convection and macrosegregation during directional solidification of binary alloys, tribological behavior of metal-matrix composites, and directional solidification using exothermic heat from in-situ chemical reactions. His work includes numerical modeling and experimental validation.
