Surajit Maity

Surajit Maity is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. His research focuses on Laser Spectroscopy, Molecular Dynamics, and Non-covalent Interactions in biorelevant systems, alongside High Performance Computing for energy transfer studies.

He obtained his PhD in Chemistry from IIT Bombay and has held positions at the University of Bern, University of Basel, and University of Hawaii. His work bridges experimental and computational approaches to study interstellar chemistry, atmospheric pollutant activation, and molecular navigation devices.
