Suraj Vasudevan is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore's College of Design and Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from NUS (2011) and a B.Eng. (Honors) from NUS (2004).
His teaching focuses on:
- Chemical process design and simulation
- Separation processes and industrial control systems
- Food technology applications
Research addresses sustainable energy solutions, including CO2 conversion technologies and carbon capture optimization. Vasudevan has received multiple teaching awards including the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (2019, 2021, 2023) and the Faculty of Engineering's Engineering Educator Award (2020-2022). His publications appear in leading journals including Energy and Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research.
