Sunita Doobay

Sunita Doobay serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Queen's University Faculty of Law while maintaining an active practice as a tax and trust lawyer at Blaney McMurtry LLP in Toronto. Her academic role focuses on teaching taxation of trusts and estates, trust law, and general taxation courses, bridging theoretical legal education with real-world multijurisdictional tax challenges.

Her educational foundation includes an LL.B. from Queen's University (1992) and an LL.M. in U.S. Taxation from New York University (1995), establishing her expertise in cross-border tax systems.

Her research concentrates on evolving tax frameworks, with primary interests in International Tax compliance, Trusts and Estates planning, Corporate Tax structures, and Charities Law.
