Sungjong ROH is an Assistant Professor of Communication Management at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU), serving as a full-time faculty member since July 2015. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Cornell University (2015), an M.A. in Communication from Korea University (2008), and a B.A. in Communication with Great Honor from Korea University (2004). His research focuses on judgment and decision-making, strategic data visualization, motivated reasoning, and narrative-based communication in management contexts.
Key awards and recognitions include the NSF Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grant (2014–2015), Anson E. Rowe Promising Graduate Student Award (2013), and multiple fellowships from institutions like the Ilju Foundation and Chungsoo Foundation.
