Sun Kim

Sun Kim, MD MS, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Endocrinology, Gerontology, and Metabolism division at Stanford University School of Medicine. A board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Kim specializes in type 2 diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and obesity management, with a particular focus on lifestyle interventions for sustained health improvements. Her research investigates pathophysiological mechanisms in glucose intolerance and diabetes development among high-risk populations including schizophrenia patients, morbidly obese individuals, and gestational diabetes survivors.
