Dr. Summer Wood is Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at UNB, specializing in medical/legal anthropology and global health equity. Research examines birth registration systems, health access barriers, and human rights frameworks.
Holds PhD from NYU and MPH from University of Michigan. Fieldwork conducted in Tanzania explores intersections of bureaucratic systems and healthcare access. Mentors students in health equity and social justice research.
