Summer Scavone, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She joined UVA Health as part of her first academic medicine role, focusing on integrating Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) into family medicine. Dr. Scavone practices full-spectrum family medicine, including procedures, addiction medicine, gender-affirming care, women’s health, and prenatal care, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
