Sumitra Mukherjee is a Professor in the Department of Computing at Nova Southeastern University's College of Computing & Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Decision and Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. His research focuses on analytics, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data security. Prior to NSU, he was at Baruch College, CUNY. His work spans healthcare prediction models, sensor networks, high-energy physics, and algorithmic optimization. He has published in journals like Management Science and IEEE Transactions.
