Sumako Yasui is a Professor in the Department of Art at Osaka University of Arts, where she graduated in 1982. A renowned printmaker, she creates delicate copperplate etchings hand-colored with pastels, characterized by dreamlike, nature-inspired visuals. Her multidisciplinary practice spans:
