Dr. Sujin Kim serves as a Visiting Fellow at LSE Health and holds a concurrent Research Fellow position at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA). Her expertise spans health economics, healthcare systems, and global health governance, with a focus on policy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. Fluent in English and Korean, she actively contributes to international health policy dialogues, including WHO negotiations on pandemic governance and revisions to the International Health Regulations.
- Education: Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management from Seoul National University
Her research emphasizes equitable and sustainable public health policies, addressing both domestic and global challenges. Dr. Kim’s work bridges econometric analysis and real-world policy applications to inform decision-making in healthcare equity, pharmaceutical regulation, and social protection frameworks.
In advising roles, she has supported the Republic of Korea’s government on health policy initiatives, leveraging her experience in evidence-based advocacy and international health diplomacy.
She is affiliated with LSE Health and KIHASA, collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to advance health systems research and global health policy solutions.
