Dr. Sue Price serves as Pastoral Supervisor at the Centre for Ecclesial Ethics, where she integrates practical theology with frontline pastoral work. Her current research focuses on spiritual care for vulnerable populations through the National Institute of Health Research project NIHR128468, examining chaplaincy services for children with life-shortening conditions.
Her research expertise spans:
- Children's Spirituality (particularly non-verbal expressions in severely disabled children)
- Godly Play methodology in parish outreach
- Catholic Social Thought applications in prison chaplaincy
- Holy Week theology and spiritual suffering
Active funding includes the NIHR Health Services & Delivery Research grant supporting her mixed-methods study of spiritual care systems. Her conference presentation at Durham University's 2019 Suffering and the Christian Life Conference demonstrates ongoing scholarly engagement with theological responses to human vulnerability.
