Sue May is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the School of Health Professions, Plymouth University, where she serves as Associate Head of School (Internationalisation) and Programme Lead for both the MSc Advanced Professional Practice and MPhysio (Hons) Physiotherapy programs. She has extensive teaching experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and interprofessional education, informed by a clinical career as a full-time musculoskeletal physiotherapist. Her research and leadership focus on advancing physiotherapy roles in primary care, particularly as a First Contact Practitioner, and promoting person-centered care to address health inequalities.
