Sue Ellen DeChenne-Peters

Sue Ellen DeChenne-Peters is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Georgia Southern University's College of Science and Mathematics. Specializing in science education and Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs), her work explores student learning outcomes, attitudes toward STEM, and faculty decision-making in implementing undergraduate research programs. She teaches foundational biology courses and laboratory work, including BIOL 1107/Principles of Biology and BIOL 5100/Molecular and Cellular Biology Laboratory.
