Sue Anderson is an Associate Professor of Nursing Science at Saint Mary's College, specializing in graduate studies and the Center for Integrated Healthcare Education. She holds a PhD from the University of Arizona (2011), an MS from Purdue University Calumet, and a BSN from Indiana University South Bend. Prior to nursing, she worked as a journalist, experience she now integrates into her research using photographic methods to amplify underrepresented voices. Her work focuses on vulnerable populations, qualitative research, and otolaryngology, with a career spanning nursing education and clinical practice since 1993.
Professional experience includes roles at Indiana University South Bend (1995–2017), Campbell Ear, Nose & Throat (2001–present), and Memorial Hospital of South Bend (1993–1996).
