Sudhu Tewari

Sudhu Tewari serves as Senior Adjunct in the Graduate Design Program at California College of the Arts. Holding a PhD in Cultural Musicology from UC Santa Cruz and MFA in Electronic Music from Mills College, his practice spans sound sculpture, kinetic installations, and experimental performance.

Research and creation focus on:

• Invented instrument design
• Wind-powered sound systems
• Interactive installations
• Collaborative improvisation

Projects like the Prepared Player Piano Pinball system demonstrate innovative approaches to electromechanical sound generation. He maintains active collaborations with artists including Fred Frith and Jordan Glenn.
