Stéphane Lamouille is a CNRS Research Officer at the Institut de recherche sur l'architecture antique (IRAA), affiliated with the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. He teaches courses in ancient history, archaeology, epigraphy, and applied computer science at undergraduate and graduate levels.
His research focuses on:
- Greek monumental architecture (6th-4th century BCE), particularly roof frames and long-span structures
- Archeoseismology and seismic resilience of ancient buildings
- Digital reconstruction of historical construction techniques
- Wooden structures in Mediterranean antiquity
