Dr. Stylianos Kapetanakis is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Middlesex University. His research focuses on Recommender Systems, Machine Learning, and Fraud Detection, with a particular emphasis on applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to real-world problems.
His recent publications include work on hybrid recommendation methods for movie data and fraud prediction in mobile money transfer systems. He has also developed a multi-level approach to address the long tail recommendation problem, contributing to advancements in Data Mining and Algorithm Design.
