Professor Stuart White serves as Director of the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where he leads a multidisciplinary research team focused on creating change towards sustainable futures through independent, project-based research. With over thirty years of experience in sustainability research, Professor White's work emphasizes achieving sustainability outcomes at least cost for government, industry, and community clients across Australia and internationally.

His research spans multiple critical sustainability domains:
