Stuart Whipps is a Senior Lecturer in Photography at Birmingham City University, UK. His interdisciplinary practice merges photography, video, and sculpture to explore themes of process, collaboration, and material transformation. Notable projects include restoring a 1979 Mini with former British Leyland workers, geological thin-section training at the University of Birmingham, and Begonia propagation at West Dean. Exhibitions include 'If Wishes Were Thrushes' (DCA Dundee, 2020), 'Reflections on the Death of a Procupine' (UH Arts Hatfield, 2019), and participation in British Art Show 8 (2015-2017).
