Stuart Jenkins is a Professor of Marine Biology at the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University. His research focuses on intertidal and coastal ecosystems, with expertise in larval ecology, recruitment dynamics, and the impacts of climate change and light pollution. He has supervised over 13 PhD students and holds significant grants, including the £3.5M INTERREG ECOSTRUCTURE project on climate adaptation. His work integrates field experiments and long-term surveys, emphasizing biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.
