Stratos E. Constantinidis is a Professor of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts at The Ohio State University, affiliated with departments including Classics and interdisciplinary centers like the Center for Middle East Studies. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, he holds a PhD from the University of Iowa. His expertise spans Critical Theory, Classical and Greek Drama, Cinema, and Playwriting. He has authored influential books such as Theatre under Deconstruction and edited numerous volumes. A semi-finalist for the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching (2007), he has advised over 50 graduate students across global institutions.
His research explores Greek drama’s evolution, modern adaptations, and cross-cultural reception.
