Stina Fernqvist is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Work, Uppsala University, Sweden. Her research focuses on the welfare state's handling of economic vulnerability among families with children, particularly examining intersections with disability and intimate partner violence. She serves as the director of studies for the doctoral program and leads a Forte-funded project (2023-00645) on child maintenance regulations and domestic violence.
