Stevenson Fergus

Dr. Stevenson Fergus is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Health Promotion and HIV Prevention at Queen's University. His research focuses on health inequalities, particularly HIV/AIDS prevention among marginalized populations, resilience theory, and social ecological models. He holds a PhD from the University of Michigan, an MPH from the University of North Carolina, and a BSFS from Georgetown University.

Key research areas include adolescent resilience, sexual risk behavior, and substance use interventions. His work emphasizes understanding how structural and individual factors influence health outcomes, with a focus on racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities.
