Steven Saxe

Steven Saxe is a Visiting Professor of Clinical Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. With nearly 30 years of clinical experience in Las Vegas, he joined UNLV in 2016 as a part-time instructor. Board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, his expertise spans surgical practices and organized dentistry.

Research & Professional Focus: Dr. Saxe specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with a strong emphasis on clinical practice and patient care. He advocates for organized dentistry through active memberships in professional societies like the Southern Nevada Dental Society, Nevada Dental Association, and International College of Dentists.

Professional Contributions: He founded the University of Nevada School of Medicine General Practice Dental Residency and the Southern Nevada Craniofacial and Cleft Palate Clinic, demonstrating leadership in dental education and community healthcare initiatives.
