معرفی
Steven Ray Haakon Wilson is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oslo, specializing in analytical chemistry with a focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry (LC-MS). He leads research groups in the Hybrid Technology Hub (Center of Excellence) and the Norwegian Network of Advanced Proteomics Infrastructure (NAPI). His work emphasizes LC-MS applications in organoid studies, diagnostics (proteomics/metabolomics), and innovation projects for chemical analysis commercialization. Collaborations include SINTEF, Copenhagen University, and industry partners like Novo Nordisk. He teaches analytical chemistry and biochemistry, having won multiple teaching awards. Additionally, he is an active science communicator through media platforms.
Research interests span LC-MS method development, organoid-based systems, and translational technologies for healthcare. Recent work includes FDA-validated self-cleaning LC-MS systems and integrative 'organ-in-a-column' platforms. His innovation projects target technology commercialization via partnerships with Inven2 and UiO Growth House.
Collaborations extend across academia and industry, supported by grants from the Norwegian Research Council and SPARK Norway. Teaching contributions are complemented by leadership roles in science outreach and public engagement.
