Steven P. Crossley is an Associate Professor and holds the Sam A. Wilson Professorship and Roger and Sherry Teigen Presidential Professorship at the University of Oklahoma's School of Sustainable Chemical, Biological and Materials Engineering within the Gallogly College of Engineering. His research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis and nanomaterials synthesis, particularly in biomass conversion, hydrocarbon activation, and waste plastics upcycling. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals like Science, Science Advances, and Energy & Environmental Science.

Research Interests: Crossley's work emphasizes understanding catalytic mechanisms in complex systems. His group uses advanced characterization techniques and computational modeling to optimize catalyst design.

Recent trends include exploring water's role in reaction pathways and developing sustainable processes for plastic recycling.
