Steven Hubbard

Steven Hubbard, Ph.D., serves as the Director of the Wisconsin Forestry Center and a UW-Extension Forestry Specialist. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Forestry at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, focusing on sustainable forestry practices, research advancement, and community engagement.

Research Interests span hardwood sawmill efficiency, forest products supply chains, wood utilization and marketing, Wisconsin logging and transportation systems, and carbon budget analysis in forests and wood products. His work emphasizes process improvement for primary and secondary wood industries in Wisconsin.
