Dr. Steven Hubbard serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work at West Texas A&M University's Terry B. Rogers College of Education and Social Sciences, joining the faculty in 2023.
His academic foundation includes a B.S. in Psychology from West Texas A&M University (2003), followed by an M.S. (2007) and Ph.D. (2010) in Educational Psychology with a Counseling Psychology specialization from Oklahoma State University. Licensed as a Psychologist since 2012, his expertise spans clinical practice and academic instruction.
Dr. Hubbard's research interests focus on Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, and Psychological Assessment methodologies. His teaching portfolio includes General Psychology, Theories of Counseling, Abnormal Psychology, and Principles of Psychological Testing, reflecting his integrated clinical-academic approach.
He actively mentors graduate students in clinical psychology research and practice, emphasizing evidence-based therapeutic frameworks and assessment techniques within educational and clinical settings.
