Steven Hague is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Crop, Soil & Environmental Sciences at Auburn University (2023–present). He previously held roles as Associate Director of Undergraduate Research and Professor at Texas A&M University (2023–present), Cotton Trait Introgression Breeder/Station Manager at Bayer CropScience (2002–2006), and Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University (2000–2002). His research focuses on cotton improvement, including seedling diseases, variety development, and UAV-based phenotyping.
- Education: Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Texas A&M (2000), M.S. in Agronomy (Texas Tech, 1997), and B.S. in Agricultural Sciences (Texas A&M Commerce, 1994).
His work emphasizes germplasm diversity, endophytes, and sustainable cotton production.
