Steven Goh

Assoc Prof Steven Goh is an Associate Professor in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland's School of Engineering. He holds qualifications including BEng(Hons) from the University of Queensland, MBA from Deakin University, MProfAcc and DEng from USQ, and a Diploma in Company Directorship from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. His research focuses on biomedical engineering, engineering education, engineering management, and systems engineering.

He has received numerous awards, including the 2015 Australian Office of Learning and Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and serves as President of the Australasian Association for Engineering Education (AAEE) and Editor (Strategic) for the Australian Journal of Mechanical Engineering.

His professional affiliations include the Centre for Future Materials and Centre for Health Research at USQ. He has held leadership roles in Engineers Australia and has contributed to university governance through roles on the Academic Board and Faculty Board.
