Steven Edward Swift, MD is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), serving as Director of the Division of Urogynecology since 1993. He specializes in female pelvic medicine, reconstructive surgery, and the management of urinary fistula, incontinence, prolapse, and bladder dysfunction. His academic focus includes epidemiology of pelvic organ prolapse and postoperative urinary retention.
