Steven Denson

Dr. Steven Denson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, with over 25 years of clinical and educational experience in geriatrics. He serves as Medical Director for the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) Consult Service at Froedtert Hospital and provides leadership in geriatric care at the Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center. His professional affiliations include active roles in the Comprehensive Injury Center and the American Geriatrics Society.

Dr. Denson's research and clinical interests focus on improving care for older adults through better delirium screening, dementia support, advance care planning, and geriatric education models. His work bridges clinical geriatrics with innovative medical education approaches, developing practical tools that enhance both physician training and patient outcomes. He has particular expertise in translating geriatric knowledge into clinical practice through sustainable educational interventions.
