Steve Lee is Professor of Physics at the University of St Andrews, specializing in experimental condensed matter physics. Research utilizes neutron scattering and muon spectroscopy to investigate magnetic and superconducting materials.
Current projects examine quantum materials including hybrid perovskites and topological superconductors. Leads the Centre for Designer Quantum Materials and supervises doctoral candidates. Recipient of multiple honors including FRSE and FInstP distinctions.
Teaching includes solid-state physics, thermal physics, and mechanics courses. Serves as Examination Officer for physics programs.
