Steve House

Steve House is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Communication at Falmouth University, combining 16 years of creative industry experience with six years in education. He holds a BA(Hons) Graphic Design and HND Typographic Design from the London College of Communication (University of the Arts, London). Prior to academia, he worked at renowned studios like Landor, Lloyd Northover, and TBWA/London, and has been Creative Director & Owner of Ten Thousand since 2011.

• User accessibility in healthcare
• Historical studies of Black Mountain College
• Punk publishing and DIY culture

He has taught at Shillington Education, The Design Centre, and the University of Technology Sydney, emphasizing industry collaboration and equitable access to creative careers. His work has garnered multiple awards and been exhibited globally.
