Steve Block is a Senior Lecturer of Political Science at Baylor University's College of Arts & Sciences, where he also directs the Undergraduate Moot Court Program. He holds a PhD and MA in Political Science from Baylor University and a BS from North Carolina State University.
His teaching and research focus on the history of political thought, American constitutional development, and intersections between politics and literature. Block's work examines Aristotelian ethics, Supreme Court jurisprudence (especially privacy rights), and philosophical themes in literature. His publications include analyses of classical virtue ethics, liberal political theory, and constitutional interpretation.
