Steve Bickham serves as Associate Professor of Physical Education and Head Men's Tennis Coach at Pomona College (The Claremont Colleges) since 2013, where he has transformed the program into a nationally ranked Division III powerhouse.
His educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts in History with Biology minor from the University of New Mexico.
Bickham's expertise spans elite tennis coaching, sports management systems, and community engagement through athletic programs. With over 25 years of industry experience, he integrates competitive coaching with academic physical education through courses like Community Engagement Through Tennis and advanced skill development.
His leadership has earned top-10 national rankings, including a #3 national peak in 2015 with 16 victories over ranked opponents. The program has produced multiple All-Americans under his guidance.

He directs the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens men's tennis program competing in NCAA Division III, operating from the Center for Athletics, Recreation and Wellness facility.
