Professor Stephen Willis is a faculty member at Durham University, serving as Director of Research in the Department of Biosciences. His work bridges climate change ecology, conservation biology, and species distribution modeling, with extensive collaborations across academic (Universities of York, Leeds, Copenhagen) and non-academic institutions (RSPB, BirdLife International, NERC). He employs spatially explicit models, GIS, and remote-sensed data to analyze environmental change impacts on ecosystems, biodiversity, and range shifts in native/invasive species.
